Health Tip: Looking for a Sweet Snack?

You don’t have to indulge in an unhealthy snack to satisfy your craving for something sweet.

Snack on one of these tempting treats, suggested by the American Heart Association:

  • Canned fruit with no added sugar.
  • A small serving of angel food cake, sliced thin.
  • A baked apple.
  • Fresh fruit.
  • Naturally sweet raisins, or frozen grapes or bananas.
  • Unsweetened low-fat fruit yogurt.
