Shedding extra sugar from your diet may help you get a more restful night’s sleep.
The National Sleep Foundation advises:
- Too much sugar may raise your risk of waking during the night.
- Your energy may crash well after a high-sugar treat, prompting you to feel drowsy during the day.
- Avoid refined sugars found in many cereals, juices, desserts, white bread, sodas and white pasta.
